UEFA Says Take a Pass on Moscow's Fans' Park

During my trip to the 2006 World Cup, we went to three games and four Fanfests. While nothing beats being in the stadium, the Fanfest experiences were a highly memorable part of the trip.

There will be a "Fans' Park" at the Champions League Final in Moscow. In an apparent effort to keep ticketless fans out of Russia, UEFA spokesman William Gaillard did his best to bash the experience.

"Is it worth spending all that money just to go to a Fans' Park when I'm sure there will be plenty of public places in the UK showing the game?"

Ok then. In 2010, UEFA plans to move the Champions League Final to a Saturday night. Perhaps by then the Fans' Park experience will be a bit more memorable.
