Former England National Team boss Steve McClaren appears headed to a return to coaching with Dutch outfit FC Twente. Twente are booked for the third round of Champions League qualifying next year thanks to their Dutch League playoff win over Ajax.
While McClaren is best known for leading England through a disastorous Euro 2008 qualifying campaign, his strong run with Middlesbrough and time as an assitant at Manchester United make him an ideal candidate for a position abroad. Now he can go about the duty of coaching without facing all the distractions that would accompany another domestic job.

PSV Go Dutch
The season in Holland's Eredivisie concluded today with PSV Eindhoven claiming their fourth title in a row and seventh of the decade. Needing only a point on the final day to clinch the title, PSV posted a 1-0 win at Vitesse Arnhem to win the league by three points over rival Ajax Amsterdam and earn qualification into the group phase of next year's Champions League.
The league's second-fifth placed teams, Ajax, NAC Breda, Twente Enschede and Heerenveen, now enter a four-team playoff for the league's second Champions League berth, a slot in the third qualifying phase.
